A very diverse background with rich global career, whether it's in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Who is Stefan?
Oh, that's a very deep question early in the morning, but I try to answer it short and quickly. Stefan Schmidt, who is he? He's a global citizen, so to speak, as you pointed out very well. Ultimately, he's still Swiss. He has his roots there, but traveled around the world for many years for several companies, starting consulting for six years. Then I was very quickly into the sanitary wear technology industry. The interesting part about our industry, once you're in, it's very hard to get out. You're stuck. So I somehow stuck in that very nice and interesting industry and over all these years I developed somehow an interest in the whole technologies that are actually in our industry, like the water saving that we have, the design part that we have, the technology part that we have.

So it is a It is an interesting industry. So that was always fascinating. Otherwise, I'm a very sporty guy. My plan B is always if everything fails, I can become a Pilates teacher. So that's my plan B. Otherwise, happily married, and have several dogs as well. Otherwise, I think it more or less sums it up.

Let's hear more from Stefan!

Fed-up locals living next to a historic Shakespeare property say their lives have been made “hell” by drug dealers and anti-social yobs.

Residents on South Green Drive in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks., say they are too scared to leave their homes after dark.

The leafy street - where house prices average £406,000 - is close to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the wife of William Shakespeare.

Residents living on the road were too scared to be named fearing reprisals, but say their lives have become “miserable”.

One woman, who has lived on the road for 50 years, said: “It’s quite frightening when you see cars full of big men sitting in the street.

“We have had drug dealers move in next door and you get these big burly blokes coming in and out at all times of the day and night.

“You’ve got to pretend that you don’t see it. You see the younger dealers buzzing around the area too.

“They tend to go in next to the children's play area so they are not overlooked by people's homes.

“You also get kids aged 14 and 15 coming up in the holidays and throwing stones at people’s windows.

“Talking to the police, it’s obvious they can’t cope. It’s the County Lines drug gangs who are operating here.

“We live in one of the most beautiful towns in the country, yards away from Anne Hathaway’s famous cottage, but our lives are miserable.”

Another young mum, who moved to the street six years ago, said: “When I first moved here it was older, retired people.

“It was beautiful and people would be out making their gardens look nice.

“Then a housing association took over a few properties and young people moved in and then came the drugs.

“We had people move in next door to me who were obviously dealing drugs.

“I’d lose count of how many times I saw the police round there.

“The area is falling apart and people who used to stop for a chat now lock themselves in their homes. It’s sad really but the criminals have won.”

Other residents say the estate often organised community barbecues and street sales but that had all come to an end.

One said: “People just aren’t interested any more.

“I’ve tried to organise barbecues and this and that people just keep themselves to themselves now.

“I feel for one couple near me, they have two young children and they have to walk past a known drug den to take their kids to school.

“I can pick a druggie out really well. You just get used to it, it’s normal now.

“I’ve had plain clothed police officers sat in front of my drive, just watching them.

“I've seen armed police come and raid homes. It’s a weekly occurrence.

“These men just park outside across people’s driveways, they do their drug deals and go. They don’t care who they upset. They’re scary men.

“You can tell they’re dodgy, something isn’t right. It’s all since the buildings were taken over and given to younger people.

\

Tenby-born artist Rachel Rasmussen is looking forward to staging her first ever debut solo exhibition in Tenby at the seaside town’s Museum and Art Gallery.
Daughter to Christine and Peter Brown, Rachel’s inspiration started at school. She invites her old art teachers from Ysgol Greenhill and St Teilos, and any others who knew her growing up as a child, to the exhibition, on display from May 3 to June 16.
“I’m so excited to finally share my artwork in such a professional platform, in a beautiful historic spot, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery,” said Rachel.
“I visited the museum many times as a child; overlooked the best beach I played on every summer growing up. We’d run from school straight to the beach and if it started raining we’d either run to the Dennis cafe or take a trip to the museum.
“It’s so nice to finally hold a special exhibition in such a special place. That’s why it’s called ‘Tenby Treasures, Nostalgic Brushstrokes’.”
‘Tenby Treasures: Nostalgic Brushstrokes’ will mark Rachel’s first solo exhibition in her home town of Tenby.
Rachel’s work is a reflection of what she loves most about nature. Painting seascapes and landscapes, capturing dramatic skies, evocative reflections with attention to detail. Recently, painting pebbles has become a trademark of hers.
Rachel, who was born and brought up in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, became a self-taught artist at an early age. Drawing from the beauty on her doorstep, Rachel loves to paint the South Wales coastline. She hopes to create a feeling of nostalgia for those who view her work.
Rachel now resides in Cardiff, with her husband and four children. As well as being a full-time mother, she chases spare time painting, teaching classes and exhibiting her work. She took part in the Channel 5 series Watercolour Challenge. Last Christmas she returned to Tenby to hold two paint-along sessions, one for adults and one for the whole family.
You can meet Rachel and talk about her work at the preview evening, May 11, 6-7pm.

Imagine you're a star athlete, gearing up for the big game. But wait, there's a party, a meet-and-greet, a charity event. Sounds exciting, right? But here's a thought. What if saying 'no' to these non-essential commitments could be your game-winning strategy? It's all about energy preservation and laser focus. It's like saving that last burst of energy for the final sprint, the ultimate goal. The power of 'no' isn't about rejecting opportunities, but rather, prioritizing what truly matters. So, next time you're faced with a non-essential commitment, think about it. Is it worth your energy? Will it distract you from your goals? If the answer is 'yes', then maybe it's time to exercise the power of 'no'. Remember, every 'no' is a 'yes' to something more meaningful. Learning to say 'no' is not a setback, it's setting up for success. This is your sixty-second wisdom, until next time, keep focusing on what truly matters.
